Do I need a consultation before booking?
For major colour changes, corrective colour, and hair extensions,
we recommend booking a consultation first.
It lets us assess your hair, talk through your goals, and give you an accurate quote before your appointment.
I'm not sure what service to book.
Whether you're after balayage, foils, a lived-in blonde, a brunette refresh,
a colour correction, or hair extensions, our team can help you decide.
The best place to start is a consultation, where we'll talk through your hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences.
Bringing inspiration photos helps us nail the look you're after.
How long will my appointment take?
Colour and extension services are highly personalised, so appointment times vary.
generally between 2 and 4 hours depending on the service and your hair goals.
Give us a call to discuss beforehand.
How much does balayage cost?
Balayage pricing depends on your hair length, thickness, and current colour.
We give personalised quotes at consultation so there are no surprises.
How much does blonde hair cost?
Like balayage, blonde colour pricing depends on your starting colour, hair length, and desired result.
We'll quote you accurately once we've seen your hair in person.
What if I have box dye on my hair?
Let us know when you book!
Previous box colour can affect the lightening process, and we may need extra time — or an additional appointment — to get you to your goal safely.
Our goal is safe and healthy hair, always.
What is a lived-in blonde?
A lived-in blonde blends seamlessly with your natural root colour for a low-maintenance, softer grow-out than traditional highlights , fewer salon visits required.
What's the difference between balayage and foils?
Balayage is hand-painted for a soft, natural result with a softer regrowth line.
Foils give more lift and brightness from root to tip , ideal if you want a brighter, more uniform blonde.
Is balayage suitable for dark hair?
Yes. Balayage can be customised for brunettes and dark blondes.
Depending on how light you want to go, this may take more than one appointment to protect hair health.
Can I go blonde in one appointment?
It depends on your starting colour and hair history.
Some clients reach their goal in one session: others need multiple appointments to maintain hair health.
Will going blonde damage my hair?
Healthy blonding comes down to the right technique and aftercare.
We use professional products and customised lightening, plus nourishing treatments, to protect your hair throughout.
How often should I refresh my blonde?
Most blonde clients come in every 8–12 weeks,
depending on how bright you like it and how fast your natural regrowth shows.
Toning between visits keeps things fresh.
How long does balayage last?
Balayage typically lasts 3–5 months between refreshes.
making it a great low-maintenance option if you're busy.
How do I keep my blonde from turning brassy?
A good purple shampoo, heat protection, and salon-recommended haircare go a long way.
Regular toning appointments keep brassy tones in check.
Can I go from blonde to brunette?
Absolutely!
going darker often leaves hair looking healthier and shinier.
We'll tailor your brunette shade to suit your skin tone and how much maintenance you want.
How often should I refresh my brunette colour?
Most brunette clients book a refresh every 4–6 weeks for shine, richness, and grey coverage.
Can I add dimension to brunette hair without going blonde?
Yes, subtle highlights, lowlights, or face-framing pieces add depth and movement without the maintenance of a full blonde.
Are copper tones hard to maintain?
Copper fades faster than other colours, so regular glossing appointments and the right home care help keep it vibrant.
How often should I get a haircut?
Every 6–8 weeks is ideal for healthy, fresh-looking hair and to stay ahead of split ends.
Do I need a haircut if I'm growing my hair out?
We recommend regular trims to remove damaged ends, which actually helps your hair grow longer and healthier overall.
Can layers make my hair look thicker?
Yes , the right layering adds movement and texture, which can make fine hair appear fuller.
What should I do before my colour appointment?
Come in with clean, dry hair if possible, and bring inspiration photos. Be ready to talk through your hair history, including any previous colour, box dye, or chemical treatments.
How do I keep my colour looking vibrant between appointments?
Use salon-quality, colour-safe products, cut back on heat styling, and protect your hair from sun and chlorine.
